Q & A
Hi Helen The brass trims only come in a minimum of 10mm. For a 7mm tile, we would usually recommend using an 8mm trim so that any cut tiles where the cut edge meets the trim, only 1mm of depth need to be taken up. A 10mm can be used providing you have a deeper bed of adhesive under the tile, to allow sufficient room for adjustment. If you wish to discuss your requirements in more detail or to arrange samples or a quotation, please call our sales team on 01536 314730 or request a call-back via the link below, and they will be more than happy to help you. https://ideas.wallsandfloors.co.uk/request-a-callback Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Debbie, There are a couple of suggestions. The first is the Mountain White which is available in 600x300 or 600x600. This is a smooth matt white of a very similar finish and colour to the wall tiles. These are fine for use with underfloor heating, and can be used in wet areas. https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/aleutian-tiles-mountain-white-matt-60x60-tiles https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/aleutian-tiles-mountain-white-matt-60x30-tiles Another tile with more of an anti-slip texture but still of a similar shade, would be the Chroma Pop White: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/white-tiles-white-floor-tiles We would advise samples of both tiles to ensure they are suitable in terms of shade and texture for your personal requirements. The Mountain white tiles are a much smoother finish and as such will provide less slip resistance when wet, but we tend to find that most customers use these in conjunction with a towel or mat in the immediate wet areas. Hi Jeffrey, At their thickest point, these tiles are 7mm thick. You would therefore need an 8mm. We have a selection of different profiles from round to straight edge in either PVC or metal. The metal ones do provide the best edge protection and in many peoples opinion is the best looking: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/aluminium-straight-edge-trims-bright-silver-08mm https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/aluminium-quadrant-trims-08mm-bright-silver-trim https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/bright-silver-trim-08mm Regards, Walls and Floors
