Description

Inject the natural look into your home with these striking Stacked Rustic Slate Stone Effect Tiles. They allow you to create the illusion of stacked drywall; the type you might find in a country farmhouse. They are perfect for creating a feature wall in a kitchen, bathroom or living room. Because they're made from porcelain, they can even be used outside to clad a garden wall. They have a matt finish. They're suitable for use in both internal and external wall spaces. For a grout that matches the faux grout joint contained within these tiles, try our Ultracolour Plus, Black Tile Grout

Hi, which grout should I be using with these tiles? On this page it recommends using the Black grout. But on the checkout page, it recommends adding the Cement Grey to the order? Our Advice

Good Morning Matt, Thank you for your query. Whilst grout colour is always down to personal preference - we would recommend a mid-dark grey if you are looking to match to the faux grout lines present on the tile surface. The Mapei Ultracolour Plus 119 London Grey or 114 Anthracite colours could be great options for achieving this effect. - https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolor-plus-119-london-grey-tile-grout - https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-ultracolour-plus-grout-ultracolour-plus-114-anthracite-tile-grout Many Thanks, Walls and Floors

When fixing these tiles is it best to stagger them on each course or just align all the joins. You mention a 2mm gap between the tiles when fixing, if they’re staggered this May misalign the interlocking system in their design. I can’t decide what to do. Our Advice

Hi Steve You an do either one of these layouts wit this tile, they will align up correctly and a 2mm grout line is the minimum recommendation for a wall tile. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

Hi the Siena natural stone tiles with them being quite substantial quite heavy I was wondering is there a special adhesive to hold them they will be indoors on a feature wall also do you not have gaps between the tiles and just lay them flush to eachother Our Advice

Hi Simon These tiles would need fixing with a cement-based, flexible adhesive, such as the on below: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/toolshed-tile-adhesive-kwik-flex-grey-floor-tile-adhesive?_br_psugg_q=kwik%20flex These tiles do interlock but we would recommend a 2mm gap in between the tiles which would require grouting. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

Hi, I am going to buy these tiles but i am not sure how to order as I need flat edged tiles for the corners ceiling and floor edges. Can you help please. Thank youOur Advice

Hi Debs Thanks for your query. These tiles would need to be cut to create straight edges where they will floors and ceilings for example. Kind regards Walls and Floors

Hi....Can these be fixed directly onto plasterboard? We are looking to put in a feature wall and hide a crappy wall at the same time! Many thanksOur Advice

Hi Lisa, A plasterboard substrate can hold up to 32kg of weight per m2. These tiles are 20.52 kg per m2 and typically we would allow 2 - 4 kg per m2 for grout and adhesive so you should be fine installing them. Kind regards,

Can be used for fireplace ?Our Advice

Hi Ewela These tiles are glazed porcelain and resistant to high temperatures. They can therefore be use on chimney's or in an alcove as a surround for a woodburner. We would recommend fixing tiles in areas subject to excess heat, with the Palace Heat Resist Adhesive: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/palace-heat-resistant-tile-adhesive-10-kg Regards Walls And Floors
