Hi Jacquline The longevity will depend on many factors for the area usage, wear, cleaning regime and cleaning products. For example on a wall where it only occasionally gets a wipe over now and then, it can last for years, but on a floor where you have heavy foot traffic and is mopped weekly, the time between applications will need to be reduced. To keep the seal in good condition, we only recommend the use of pH neutral products, in particular, the LTP Stonewash spray for the walls and the LTP Waxwash for floors: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-stonewash-spray-500ml https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-waxwash-tile-maintenance If you wish to discuss your project in more detail or to arrange samples or a quotation, please call our Sales team on 01536 314730 or request a call-back via the link below, and they will be more than happy to help you. https://ideas.wallsandfloors.co.uk/request-a-callback Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Sally When this product is sprayed on, it leaves a very thin repellent barrier that will not alter the micro-texture or slip resistance of the tile but will create a droplet effect when water comes into contact. This barrier will aid cleaning and also minimise the chance of long term grout discolouration. If you wish to discuss your project in more detail, please call our sales team on 01536 314730 or request a call-back via the link below, and they will be more than happy to help you. https://ideas.wallsandfloors.co.uk/request-a-callback Regards Walls And Floors
Hi Asma, This sealer can be used on any tile from ceramic, natural stone and all porcelain including the polished finish. The excess spray will evaporate making it invisible on most tiles. If over-sprayed any non-evaporated sealer can be buffed with a Microfibre cloth: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-maintenance-tools-blue-buffing-cloth-2-pack Regards, Walls and Floors
Hi Susan, The protector forms a repellent barrier which will help against the grout darkening when wet. However if the grout is going lighter, it could be caused by efflorescence or partial dispersion. If either of these is the case it will look uniform when wet, and dry back to the normal colour with sporadic light patches. To fix this before using the protector, it will require a treatment with the LTP Grout Stain remover with an emulsifying pad: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-tile-grout-stain-remover https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-maintenance-tools-black-emulsifying-pad If for any reason this solution does not work, please send images and details of the grout to technicalhelp@wallsandfloors.co.uk and we will be able to investigate and assist you in finding a solution.
