Q & A

When applying these panels, are they ok to go on top of already decorated walls? Our walls have lining paper on them followed by paint. Kindest regards Katherine Our Advice

Hi Katherine, To ensure the best adhesion, we would recommend that the paper is removed prior to installation. Kind regards, Walls and Floors

Julia28/05/24
Will these help reduce noise from neighbours? Our Advice

Hi Julia, Yes, these panels can help with this, depending on how you install them. Please refer to the Trepanel guide in the product description for further installation information. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

I want to install on a shared wall to reduce noise from my neighbours.... what's the best way to go about this ? Would just gluing on the wall be enough or should I add something beforehand? Our Advice

Hi Maddy You can screw or glue the panels directly to the wall, this will give you an absorption class D. If you need more noise reduction then you will need to fit wooden batons to the wall and attach the panels to those, filling the void with rock wool or fibre glass, this will give you an absorption class B. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

If i screw them to batons how far apart do they need to be spaced to stop the panels from distorting over timeOur Advice

Hi Jeff. We would reccommend a space of 600mm. Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.

Can i put panels on the same wall as a raidiater ? Our Advice

Hi Cath We do not recomend fittting thepaels near the heatsouce as over time, this can affect the veneer. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
