Hi, I have to repair some water damage to a shower cubicle, the tiles are Johnsons, white rectangular tiles but are about 195cm x 9.7cm, I wondering why these tiles are quoted as 20x10, have Johnsons changed their sizing? Current tiles are about 10yrs old.Our Advice

Hello David Thank you for your query. Tiles are made in batches and as such are subject to nominal size and shade variance. The size 200x100 is essentially the class the tiles fall in to and can vary by up to 5mm in either direction under British Standards. Kind Regards Walls and Floors

what does prg1 mean?Our Advice

Hi Ann, This tile is produced by Johnsons in Stoke. Itis part of their Prismatics plain colour range and over the years people have become more accustomed to using the factory code as opposed to the colour description. PRG1 is the factory code for the particular colour tile: PR (Prismatics) G (Gloss) 1 (White). Regards Walls and Floors

Is the oblong PRG1 wall tile in white completely Flat? I don't want a bevelled tile. Our Advice

Hi Alison These tiles are flat and do not have a bevel of the same extent as a metro tile for example. However as with any pressed ceramic there is a tiny rounding where the edge of the glaze stops. We would recommend ordering a sample to ensure you are happy with the design for your project. Regards Walls & Floors
