Care and Maintenance

  • Our Crackle Glaze must be sealed, we’d recommend LTP Crackle Glaze Protector. Your sealant should be applied both before and after you grout your tiles.
  • When it comes to cleaning your Crackle Glaze tiles, please use LTP Stonewash. Do not use an acidic household cleaner which may damage your beautiful tiles.
  • Ensure you fully seal all tiles, following our downloadable care & maintenance guide, especially if the intended use is within a shower area.

you say it is necessary to seal with LTP crackle glaze, what needs to be sealed the tile or the wall, if its the tile does that mean they are not waterproofOur Advice

Hi Michele, It is the tile that needs to be sealed. This is because true to the tiles name, the glaze on the face of the tile is cracked. To confirm if the tile is not sealed the face would not be water-resistant. I hope this helps. Kind regards,
