Description

With their smooth surface, these brick shaped Monceau Crackle Teal Metro Tiles are ideal for piecing together a charming period display in your kitchen or bathroom. These aquatic turquoise tiles allow you to bring a fresh and vibrant new look into your home. They have a textured crackled effect sweeping over the surface of the tiles. Made from ceramic, they have a glimmering gloss finish.

To achieve the teal mix in the photographs, combine with Varenne Teal Smooth Crackle Metro Tiles

Care and Maintenance

  • Our Crackle Glaze must be sealed, we’d recommend LTP Crackle Glaze Protector. Your sealant should be applied both before and after you grout your tiles.
  • When it comes to cleaning your Crackle Glaze tiles, please use LTP Stonewash. Do not use an acidic household cleaner which may damage your beautiful tiles.
  • Ensure you fully seal all tiles, following our downloadable care & maintenance guide, especially if the intended use is within a shower area.

I bought a similar hue to this, only called craquele azulado, also in crackle glaze, What colour grout goes well with it? ThanksOur Advice

Hi Alina Grout colour is entirely down to personal preference, but we tend to find lighter colours such as White, Silver (as per the image) or Jasmine the most popular. To aid you, we can provide samples from our Norcros 4 Into 1 Grout and would advise obtaining a selection of colours, to compare before making your final decision: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-grout If you wish to discuss your project in more detail or to arrange samples, please call our sales team on 01536 314730 or request a call-back via the link below, and they will be more than happy to help you. https://ideas.wallsandfloors.co.uk/request-a-callback Regards Walls And Floors

Please can you tell me if these tiles are easy to clean given that they are a crackle glaze? I am thinking of using them in the kitchen behind the hob so they would need to withstand constant cleaning and heat too. Please can you also tell me what colour grout you would recommend and if you have a mould resistant one?Our Advice

Hi Ingrid, I would suggest using a white grout with these tiles to really make the vibrant green colour stand out, this one would work well as it has an anti mould additive https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/anti-mould-flexible-tile-grout-white-anti-mould-tile-grout-3kg With the tiles having the crackle glaze feature it is imperative they are sealed and fitted correctly using https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-tile-crackle-glaze-protector this product will “fill in” the cracks invisibly protecting them from potential staining Kind regards, Walls and Floors

Tiles shown on the photograph of a sample bathroom, illustrating Monceau Teal Smooth Crackle (https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/antique-smooth-crackle-metro-tiles-monceau-teal-smooth-crackle-metro-tiles) seem to be in two different shades of colour- one substantially darker than the other. Is that the case? How much variation there is the the tile colour? Regards, TFiszerOur Advice

Hello and thank you for your enquiry, In our lifestyle image used to show off these tiles we have used 2 different colours to create the unique blend in the image, the second colour used is Varenna Teal Smooth Crackle https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/antique-smooth-crackle-metro-tiles-varenne-teal-smooth-crackle-metro-tiles In the individual colours there is a very subtle shading contrast. Kind regards, Walls and Floors
