Hi, Im considering buy the country house multi coloured slate. Is this the right sealant, given that it states it is for polished tiles? If Im correct, these tiles are in their natural state and therefore not polished. If this isn't correct, can you advise what is please? Our Advice

Good Afternoon Rosie Many thanks for your query. The correct sealant for the Country Farmhouse Multicolour slate tiles is LTP Mattstone, I have attached a link below for you: https://ww2.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-mattstone-tile-sealer-11256 Kind Regards Walls and Floors

Hi, I'm buying your polished black marble tiles for my kitchen floor. Should this sealant be used, and if so, should it be used before and after grouting? Thanks, RichardOur Advice

Hi Richard If a tile is porous or it is recommended that they are to be sealed, it is always best to seal before grouting to ensure none of the grout pigment can stain the tile. After sealing and grouting and cleaning them off, we'd also advise a further coat of sealer, to ensure the tiles are protected and to also sealer the grout to some degree. If you wish to discuss your project in more detail or to arrange samples or a quotation, please call our Sales Team on 01536 314730, and they will be more than happy to help you. What square meterage does this cover? Our Advice

Hi Mandy, The coverage will depend on the porosity of the material you are going to seal and how many coats it will take. So for polished marble and granite, you should get upto 10 sqm coverage per litre. However if sealing a much denser material such as polished porcelain or engineered quartz, you can achieve up to 30 sqm. Regards Walls And Floors
