Could I use these on shower walls? Our Advice

Hi Linece, These tiles are glazed and suitable for use in shower and wet areas, providing the area is correctly prepared. As would be the case with any tile, before fixing we recommend the walls to be tiled are made waterproof, by using a suitable tanking kit such as the Ardex WPC: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ardex-tile-preparation-sealants-ardex-wpc-waterproof-protection-coat If you wish to discuss your project in more detail or to arrange for us to send you samples, please call our sales team on 01536 314730, and they will be more than happy to help you. There is not a lot of space in between the sections for the grout - does it adhere properly or is it liable to come loose ?Our Advice

Hi Debbie, It is a small gap, but the exposed ceramic is slightly porous and allows the grout mixture to form a good key in the joint. We would suggest a fine grout that is capable of filling a 1mm grout joint such as the Norcros 4 Into 1 grout range: https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-grout Once set, the strength will be fine, but it is important that the grout has set sufficiently enough, before performing the initial sponge-off during installation. Hi What colour grout do you recommend for use with these tiles please? Our Advice

Hi Debbie, The grout colour is entirely down to personal preference. The tile is divided into 4 sections by a score line, that once grouted over gives the appearance of 4 individual tiles. The background of the tiles is a pale silver grey. So you could try and match that to try and create a close to seamless look with Silver Grey Grout. In the image, Anthracite has been used which creates a bold contrast and picks out the darker shades of the tile. Within our Norcros 4 Into 1 Grout range, we can now provide samples. We would advise obtaining a sample tile and a selection of grout colours, to compare before making your final decision. The value of the samples will be offset against any subsequent telephone order placed with our sales team on 01536 314730. https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/norcros-4-into-1-grout Regards Walls And Floors
