Description

These Ledgestone Splitface Mosaic Tiles are made of pieces of shaded natural slate, of different sizes and thicknesses. The pieces are bonded together to produce a highly modern textural, undulating form, which can be used to create feature walls in both interior and exterior schemes. Split Face Tiles will add a striking textured look to any wall space.

Sealing and maintenance 

Natural stone is porous so we recommend sealing your fantastic new tiles with LTP Mattstone Sealer. To intensify the colour of your tiles, we recommend LTP Colour intensifier. To keep your tiles looking fresh and new, we'd suggest applying LTP Stonewash. 

Due to the nature of these natural slate splitface tiles, we do not recommend them for use in shower areas or areas that receive direct water to the surface. The manufacturing process of these linear slate tiles can leave very small joints that are difficult to completely seal.

Can these tiles be installed outdoor walls? Is the backing rigid or a mesh?Our Advice

Hi Anad, Thank you for your enquiry. These tiles are a rigid backing, they are not on any type of mesh. Yes, these tiles can be used externally, but we would recommend these to be sealed.

Have these tiles got a lot of dark colour in them as the sample we have ordered has no dark bits in them but the picture on line has got quite a lot of dark bits. Could you send me some pictures on whatsapp of some samples put together pleaseOur Advice

Hi Ruth Thank you for your query. Due to the nature of these tiles being natural stone there is a lot of variance in the shades and colours. We aren't able to send images of samples put together but there are quote a lot of images online and some customer project pictures too. Kind regards Walls and Floors
