Description
Description
Inject character and texture into your interior spaces with these striking and stylish Olive Split Face Tiles. Made from natural slate, they have a gorgeous mix of tones. These tiles consist of strips of slate that are cut to different heights, lengths and thicknesses and bonded together to create a staggered, multi-levelled surface. We don't recommend using these in areas that are directly hit with water, such as in a shower.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Natural stone is porous so we recommend sealing your fantastic new tiles with LTP Mattstone Sealer. To intesify the colour of your tiles, we recommend LTP Colour intensifier. To keep your tiles looking fresh and new, we'd suggest applying LTP Stonewash.

Q & A
Hi Andy. These are suitable for the desired look you are going for. However, as these tiles are porous, we recommend using our LTP matt stone sealer to protect them. https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/ltp-cleaning-protecting-ltp-mattstone-tile-sealer-11256 Kind Regards, Walls and Floors.
Hi Shiela, As long as they are fitted correctly and at least 4-6 inches away from the direct source of heat, they can be used behind a wood burner. Kind regards, Walls and Floors
Hi Neal These tiles do not require grouting as they are a natural slate split face. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
Hi Alan You could either use a tile trim, although this may not be the best finish due to the varying thicknesses of the tile. Alternatively, you can mitre the tiles so they meet at a 45 degree angle on the corner of the chimney breast. Kind Regards Walls and Floors
Hi Carl Thanks for your query. So long as the tiles are fitted correctly they are fine to use in and around a fireplace. Kind regards Walls and Floors
Hi Andy Thank you for your query. These tiles can be used outside and you can use an adhesive like https://www.wallsandfloors.co.uk/mapei-adhesive-keraquick-grey-tile-adhesive Kind regards Walls and Floors
